"The Jungle" - NASCAR camping area in a field opposite the Sears Point track in 2000. For most it was a regular annual pilgramage. The campers would start to arrive a couple of days before the NASCAR event to ensure the best locations - and they enjoyed a great cameraderie - but by nightfall it could get a little "rowdy".
